Dhoop/incense are extruded incense, without bamboo sticks. Every Indian household uses incense during pujas, prayers, and festivals. They usually emit large amounts of smoke but do not necessarily harm if used correctly. They are not only used for auspicious occasions but also the practice of lighting Dhoop keeps us healthy, according to the Vedic texts. Guggal Dhoop especially is extracted from Myrrh (Loban), a resin that comes from trees. In Ancient Vedic cultures and the Ayurvedic system, Guggal is cherished all around for its tantalizing aroma and elevate the spiritual aura. ‘Guggal’ is associated with ‘Shiva’, ‘ghee’ and ‘shakti’: a combination of ghee and Guggal can work wonders.
About the Product: Guggal Dhoop is extracted from the resin of Loban tree by making an incision on the stem or on the bark of the tree. The gum resin thereby collected is dried and processed to achieve a semi-powered form. Loban or Benzoin is extracted from the resin out of Boswellia tree. This is further churned into creating oils and incense.
Significance of the product: Guggal dhoop is used in pujas, festivals, and auspicious ceremonies because it has the power to cast off evil eyes and bring positivity. In addition, it also removes bacteria and pests from the air which are the main reasons for bad health. For better effect use it twice a day.
